| Climate conditions | 2025 was yet another year of extreme weather. Following a winter with relatively little rainfall, the rainy, damp and mild spring required numerous treatments to prevent crop losses. The weather turned fine and dry from 8 June until 13 August, with two heatwaves, one in late June/early July and another in early August. A violent storm on 13 August, accompanied by hail and strong winds, damaged part of the harvest. Furthermore, between mid-August and 25 September, 210 mm of rain fell. We therefore had to juggle things a little to harvest the grapes under the best possible conditions. As the yield was relatively modest, the grapes were able to reach full ripeness. The grapes were harvested by hand on 19 August. |
| Type of winemaking | The must fermented in vats at between 18 and 20°C, then was aged on lees, partly in vats and partly in old barrels, for three months. It was then bottled to be made into sparkling wine using the traditional method. |
| Type of ageing | It was aged for minimum 10 months in bottle, on the lees, and disgorged as required. |
| Tasting notes | This is an sparkling Brut Nature with fine bubbles and no residual sugar. Full-bodied and well-balanced, it offers aromas combining white flowers and yellow fruits. |
| Food recommandation | Serve it at 6-8°C, as an aperitif, by itself or in a cocktail, with tapas, foie gras or seafood. A festive wine, it will add sparkle to all your gatherings with friends and family. |
